We prioritize CO2 reductions across our operations, with a special focus on our clothing, stables, and event sectors, where the potential for impact is greatest.
Ambition
Our goal is to support our subsidiaries in achieving their targeted CO2 reductions by providing the necessary resources and guidance to enhance sustainability throughout our group.
Targets
- Strengthen recycling processes to minimize waste and reduce the carbon footprint of waste management at all branded stables.
- Elevate the use of recycled and sustainable materials in clothing production.
- Finish transitioning all stable lighting to LED to improve energy efficiency.
- Shift to recyclable or compostable packaging for all products by 2030.
- Implement sustainability training for all employees to promote environmental responsibility.
- Set higher requirements for suppliers to meet sustainability criteria and ethical sourcing.
Progress
- All newly installed lighting across our facilities now uses energy-efficient LED bulbs.
- Kingsland has shifted all packaging to recyclable materials, utilizing transparent, reusable polybags marked with recycling symbols.
- In 2024 we will launch our new online learningplatform, which will cover topics on environmental sustainability.
- At our branded stables all waste materials from horse shoes, deep litter, horse manure etc. is sent to recycling facilities to lower CO2 emissions. We are working together with each facility to track our CO2 reduction progress.
